Merry Bella!

Hey! Sorry for the long break. I was on vacation towards the end of last week. Spent a long weekend stamping with some friends. I got a ton of cards done though – so have lots of new stuff to show all of you!

I also have a Guest Card to share later in the week!!! Stay Tuned for that!

Here is Merry Bella! I’m not so sure this card isn’t missing something, but generally, I like it. It might even be my Christmas card … or at least a version of this card. The papers/inks are CTMH. The saying stamp is from Stampendous!

Snow Friends Slider Card

I got this cool card design from Diane’s Blog “My Little Stampin’ Spot!”. She has a great tutorial on how to create this card. One hint, she makes a note of it in the tutorial, but when you create the slider part, you may need to trim the measurements in order for it all to work properly!

I used CTMH papers (the patterened paper is retired), and the new Snow Friends stamp set (it’s the November stamp of the month). Colors are Cranberry and New England Ivy. I also used Liquid Applique on the pompom on the hat, and some new “bling” from CTMH as the buttons. I did some slight coloring with a water brush and inks. I also used my new Stampin’ Up ticket tag punch! I love that punch!

Enjoy!

Autumn Waterfall Card

All products on this card are CTMH per usual.

Colors: Autumn Terracotta, Barn Red, New England Ivy, Sunflower
Stamps: Autumn Splendor

I stamped the phrase and the leaves from a mix of the colors. I took a piece of felt and dropped the reinker colors on to in making a pad that way.

I couldn’t get a good picture of how it looks when it opens up. But once you pull down on the ribbon you get a view of all the leaves that I stamped.

Trick or Treat!

Here’s a Halloween Card I put together!

I got the idea from a sample card at Impress Rubber Stamps. I also purchased all 2 Stamps and the Bat eyelets there. The detail on the branches is actually black puffy paint – you put it on like glue, then heat it with your embossing gun and it becomes puffy! Very cool.

Caprice Papers – Thank you!

This card is another 3×6. I really am enjoying this size of a card for some reason.

The papers are from the new Caprice paper kit from CTMH. It also uses then new Sensational Seals stamp set, and the new edge anchors as well. It’s a really simple card, but I like how it turned out.

Many Thanks!

This is a 3 x 6 card. All products are CTMH – though I think that the papers and most of the stamps are retired now. I loved this paper and bought a few packets of it to keep me stocked for awhile!

Friends!

This cute little card is made with 2 new sets from CTMH! The birds are from the #2 Solo Set, and the Friends stamp is from the Make My Day set. The papers are from the More To Adore paper kit.

Soot Stamping!

Here’s a quick card I made with soot stamping! It smudged a bit before I could get it sprayed with the acrylic spray … but I still thought this turned out very cute. All items are CTMH.

Flourishes!

I love this flourish stamp set from CTMH. This is sadly, the first time I’ve used it though I think.

This weekend I went through a lot of my “stuff”. There is a ton that I’ve never used! UGH! I’m going to try and make myself use some of the stuff over the next couple of months that I’ve never used – specifically stamp sets. You wouldn’t believe that amount of stamp sets I have that I’ve not used once, but just HAD TO HAVE!

Anyway – this card is made from all CTMH materials! I really like how it came out. Simple. I tried to angle the card so you could see I put glitter on the ends, but you can barely see it.

Emerging Color Snowflake

I have been trying to figure out what I want to do for my Christmas cards this year. That’s always a chore for me.

I was playing around with the Emerging Color techinque and came up with this Card. I wasn’t feeling it for this card, until I was done and had it put together. However, this would definitely NOT be an option for my Christmas cards. I usually make 50+ Christmas cards, and frankly, this would take forever to make that many!

I used all CTMH colors – Crystal Blue, Moonstruck, Amethyst, Spring Iris. The snowflake on top is popped up, and has micro beads on top of it as well.

From Me to You!

Hi! I know it’s been awhile! Things have been hectic around here, and I haen’t been in the mood to craft either. I sat down yesterday and today and made myself make some cards. I’m feeling better about things now!!!

These 2 cards are made with the CTMH September special – From Me To You Card Kit. The colors are Hollyhock, Sunflower and Garden Green – all my favorite colors.

Enjoy! I’ll be posting more later tonight and tomorrow!

Wisdom Doesn’t Come With Age …

Hi everyone! Sorry for being away so much, but with my brother and sis-n-law being here, it’s been hard to do much of anything. I’m over 400 blog updates behind on my Bloglines!!! I try to look at a few a day, but I haven’t had much luck even doing that. It looks like they are probably leaving at the end of this weekend, so I should be able to get back on track next week!

Also I received some Blog Candy from Jen over at Pieces of Me that I won for a Sketch Challenge! I’ll get a picture of that posted in the next couple of days! Thanks Jen!!! It made my day!

In the mean time, here’s another Birthday card. It’s actually a card I made some time ago. My co-workers Birthday is tomorrow … or as she calls it, her 8th anniversary of being 30! LOL The inside says “… Sometimes age just shows up all by itself.” Hopefully she’ll get a kick out of it.
