Boom Di Ada, Coloring and New Loot

07
May

I love a lot of the new things in the new CTMH catalog – my favorite papers by far are the Boom Di Ada papers. Plus with the new ric rac … so good! :) This card also uses the Flower Dimensional Elements. I have the scalloped Stampin’ Up punch and it fits one the dimensional flowers almost perfectly!! I had to do a little sanding, but other than that, it works great.

I’ve also been spending some time coloring my new Nellie stamps! Love these little things!!!

And finally, this has been a great mail week for me! I got some new cuttlebug folders, and my nestabilities!!!

I saw a card this weekend (store bought) that look similar to this one. I really liked the look of it.

It was quick and easy to make, and best of all, I have a purpose for it! :)

Here’s another BG Sugared card. Very simple, but I really like the color combos on this line of paper.

I also used Marvy Oval punches, large eyelets, and Bazzill. The stamp set is from a retired CTMH set.

Enjoy!

Another card! :)

I started this card last night, but couldn’t figure out how I wanted to finish until this morning. I really like the way it turned out.

The flourishes in the corner are actually a rub on. I’ve never really been much of a rub on fan, but my girlfriends who are here for the weekend definitely are. So, they’ve semi-converted me.

The PP is from CTMH Serendipity, and the rub on is on top of a piece of transparency. Then I painted some MM acrylic paint on the back of the transparency, and stamped the saying on top of it in Staz On. The stamp is from the CTMH Legendary Moments set.

There’s a bit of a glare/shadow on the picture. I was having a problem taking the picture. I probably could have photo-shopped that out – if I knew how to photoshop. That’s next on my list of things to learn!

EDIT – Here’s a better, if not majorly angled, picture.

Hi everyone!

I have a couple of girlfriends in from out of town this weekend. It’s one big stamping/scrapping weekend here.

Today we took a “field trip” to the “big town” and did a little scrap shopping. Then made it back this afternoon to start crafting. I love these weekends!

This card includes the new Basic Grey paper “Sugared” – love it of course. I think I love ALL things BG though. I white washed brown Bazzill with MM acrylic paint, and used Foof-a-La buttons. The stamp and scallop punch are Stampin’ Up.

(PS – You still have a couple of days to enter my blog candy!)

Enjoy!

Finally … a card!

This sketch was borrowed from a card I saw in the new CTMH catalog. My card looks nothing like that card, other than the layout!

The papers are Chatterbox and Bazzill, the ink is CTMH Hollyhock, and the stamps are CTMH Funky Florals (retired I’m pretty sure) and April Word Puzzle. The Buttercup Brads, Baby Pink ribbon, and Baby Pink Safety Pin are all CTMH as well (so are the clear beads, but they are retired as well).

I also used a paper piercer and poked holes in circle shapes in the patterned paper. This is as close as I’ve come to stitching … I’m getting there though.

Ok, I’m beat, need to get to bed!

Enjoy!

This sketch has been floating around all week. There have been so many cute cards with it I decided to try my luck with it.

I’m pretty happy with the way this turned out! Everything is CTMH.

I got an order of Magnolia’s this week! This is my favorite new one! :)

Papers are CTMH, as is the ribbon and the Princess stamp.

I used my Prismacolor Pencils and mineral spirits again.

You only Live Once!

So, you know how every once in awhile you made that ONE card … you know … the ONE!?!?! It’s the one you LOVE. Whether it’s super detailed, or super simple, it doesn’t matter. You just love it. That’s how I feel about this card. I just love it.

It’s a simple card. But I love how the colors contrast with each other. And yes, I used circles again. I think I’ve found something that makes me creative for now … and you know how that is! Once you find it, you stick with it.

The papers are all CTMH – black cardstock, White Daisy Textured cardstock, Baby Pink cardstock. CTMH paper flower, with CTMH bling, and Baby Pink Grosgrain ribbon. The saying comes from CTMH Make It Count stamp set.

Enjoy!

No Pain no Gain – Circles

02
Mar

I saw a sketch at My Scrappy Blog that I liked, and went ahead and went with it.

The papers are CTMH Floral Tapestry Paper Pack, and I used my CM circle cutter to cut all the circles in various sizes.

I used my new SU Jumbo eyelets, which I love, and CTMH Legandary Moments stamp set.

I made squiggles (LOL) around the plain cardstock circles for some contrast.

Thank You Card

So, here’s another Silouette Card. I just love this paper so much, but I’ll likely move away from it for awhile now! :P Maybe.

I need to send some Thank You cards, so came up with this quick card.

Supplies area all CTMH except the eyelets. Stamp set is Greetings to You (possibly retired).

I’m also working on a couple of other projects. I’m working on going through my old mags and tearing out what I really like and what to keep. I’m creating a card box out of a lunch box tin with tabs and pasting my torn out images to big index cards. When I get further along, I’ll post a picture of that.

I’m also working on a Bind it All journal – for card/layout sketches. I like the idea of having one of these handy for those times that I have an idea I want to remember!

Here’s the card!

This card is based on a “doodle” by Pammie from Friday.

Supplies: CTMH Serendipity Papers, CTMH Legendary Moments Stamp, CTMH Woodland Sentiments stamp (retired), and CTMH Black Ribbon Collection.

The stamping on the black piece of paper was done in a 2nd generation CTMH White Daisy and then clear embossed.

True Love

This is my take on this card that Lisa made a few weeks ago.

The Serendipity papers from CTMH are my favorite set of papers right now I think. Love the color combo and the designs.

Stamps are all CTMH – Rustic Alphabet and February Word Puzzle.

I Want to be Just Like You

I don’t know that this is my favorite card … I look at it and it seems plain kinda. But I don’t really know what to add. Since I made it to be a more male type card though, it’s probably just right! LOL

Papers are from CTMH It’s a Guy Thing paper pack, the stamp set is CTMH Just Like You and the ink is Barn Red.
