TShirt Bag Idea
Sep
I know … it’s been awhile.
Where have I been you ask … it’s a little evil thing called Facebook! LOL
Anyway, I was perusing the Web tonight and found this idea for old Tshirts!!! I’m not a HUGE fan of Martha, but she does have some cute ideas every once in awhile!!
Thought I would share!
True Fit Folio Album
Apr
This album is made from a CTMH 12×12 True Fit Folio.
The papers are from More to Adore, and I used misc embellishments!
Enjoy!

Another Pop Top Can!
Feb
I made another one!
These are so much fun. This one stuffed with all sorts of cool stuff – silk flowers, buttons, pop can tabs, scallop punches, regular punches!!! The best part is, now that it’s sealed you can shake it!!!
The tag on top I actually got from my SU Consultant with a past order. It fit well for this Can!

Pink ATG
Feb
I finally got around to spray painting one of my ATG tape guns today!
I used the Krylon spray paint that is for plastic and outdoor stuff. I’m pretty happy with how it turned out. Not perfect, but at least it’s not that ugly yellow anymore!
Now I need to decide if I’m going to paint my other one pink, or a different color!

Pop Top Can!
Feb
Before I get to the can – I found the Blog that had the Tutorial for glitter-ing your paper flowers! It was Lauren at My Time, My Creations, My Stampendence! She makes some really great cards so you really should check her out. Her iPod card and her Baby Onsie Bouquet are some of my most favorite of her recent work!!
Ok, on to the Pop Top Can! This can used to have peaches in it!
Now it has Hershey Nuggets! The last thing I’m going to do to the can is put a tag around the pull tab, then it’ll be done. For those that haven’t made these, they are VERY easy and Julie over atPaper Pleasing Ideas has a GREAT tutorial on them! All you need is a pop top can with a seam-ed bottom (not molded), one of those fancy can openers that cuts the top clean off with no sharp edge, and some crystal laquer or something similiar! Have fun!

Another Tilda Card! I love this particular stamp. So darling. I used my Prismacolor pencils again. I think the coloring of the clothes turned out ok. I thought about paper piecing the clothes, but decided to go with the coloring again. I think this is a technique that just requires patience and practice.
This particular card actually qualifies for href="http://magnoliachallengeblog.blogspot.com/2008/02/5-romancebuckle.html">Tilda & Co’s Romance Challenge!
I “glittered” my paper flower with modge podge and glitter – I saw this done on a Blog last week and for the life of me can’t remember which one. I know I have it bookmarked, just can’t find it right now. I also used Stickles this time for the wings!
ETA – I found the Blog!!! Lauren over at My Time, My Creations, My Stampendence has the great tutorial on glitter-ing your paper flowers!

And here’s a sneak peak of what I’m working on now …

Have a great Monday!
Treasure Box!
Jan
So, my biggest hobby these days is “blurfing” (blog surfing). I’m trying to make an effort to change that though.
On one of my trips through blog land this week I saw a post called “Magic Boxes” on Lou’s Life as Lou blog. I’ve been thinking about it all week. I did a half-hearted search for a template, and then gave up, and decided to just wing it.
I made the boxes with the lid pattern from doing the scrapbook in a box. Nona Davenport, a Close To My Heart Demo, has a really great tutorial here showing how to do the entire SBIAB.
Anyway, I made my boxes with pieces of paper that were 10 5/8 inches square, and the lid was 11 1/2 inches square. I did very little stamping here, just for the tag in fact. I don’t know what I’m going to use it for, or do with it, but I wanted to make it!

And here it is opened up!

Altered Tin – Recipe Box
Dec
Here is another completed Christmas present!
I used the CTMH Recipe Card kit. I really like – it made the cards inside SOOO easy. Then all I had to do was complete the tin.
I went for simple. The person I’m giving it to doesn’t have a lot of storage space, and things can be cramped. So I didn’t want to put too many things that stuck out on the outside of the tin either.

Monogram Altered Mini-Composition Books
Dec
I was about to finish some Christmas gifts this weekend! WOOHOO!
I’m just about done with Christmas gifts. Now I just need to wrap presents and put up my tree!! That should all be done this week.
These are some mini-comp books I altered for my co-workers. The pattered paper is from the Kelly Panacci Holiday Collection. I love this paper too!! I’m also going to put some matching pens with this to make a set (to make them match I’ll stitch a piece of matching DP inside a clear Pentel pen).

Accessories – CTMH: Chipboard Alpha; Misc: Ribbon, MM Paint
Glitter Ornament
Dec
Here’s a quick post.
This just took me a few minutes to make.
I just added a mixture of water and reinker into the ornament. Swirl it around to get complete coverage (don’t shake, you’ll end up with bubbles). Let the excess liquid drain out the top. Then add some fine glitter and shake! Done!
I’m also working on a couple of other ornaments that I hope to post in the next few days!

Misc: CTMH – Sweet Leaf Reinker; Ribbon
