Quick Update!

Filed in Blog Things

Hi everyone!

No, I haven’t forgotten to post.

I’ve tried posting the last 3 nights, but have run into a major problem with my camera. It gets an error every time I try to connect it to my computer via USB cable. It worked last week, but not this week. After hours of testing things, I finally figured out late last night that it has to be my camera. It fails on 2 computers, and everything else USB related (iPod, jump drives, etc) work perfectly fine.

I do have a card slots on my printer, so I can still transfer pictures, but I’m bummed that I have this $350 camera that I bought less than 3 years ago, that is seemingly broke in one aspect now and not worth the money to fix it. UGH! And don’t think for a minute that the thought hasn’t crossed my mind to take this leap!!! But for now, I’m going to hold out … maybe once my car is paid off in September?!?!?! :P

Anyway, I do have some pictures to post and will hopefully get them done tonight.

I’m also working on a Garage Sale page. I have a bunch of old woodie stamps I want to sell, plus some punches and other tools. Figured it was worth a shot, and saves on eBay fees.

And lastly, I’m going to be creating a new section for CTMH Consultant blogs. There are more and more Consultant Blogs these days and I’m really happy to be seeing all the artwork these great Consultants create!

So, a few more changes over the next couple of days! Bear with me!

Hey girl! I lost my cable for my camera so I picked up a card reader at Radio Shack for less than $20 and it works great! You take the card out of your camera and place it in this slot on the reader and then plug the whole thing into the USB slot on your computer. I like it even better than the direct cable on the camera because you don’t have to have the camera on using up all your battery power. The little reader slips easily into the front pocket of the camera case so I have it with me all the time so I can share pics with others no matter whose house I end up at.

You would LOVE the leap to the Rebel. I have had mine for 18 months and have taken almost 15000 pictures in that time and am taking my second photography class. You will LOVE that camera – watch Costco.com as they have GREAT deal on them with extra lenses too!! Are you going to Tri-Cities next month? I will have mine there and you can play with it if you want! My step daughter has the Nikon D40 and loves it too!
