I’ve been away awhile. I’ve realized that I just keep making cards just cause. Well – I have cards coming out of my ears! Seriously. I need to be more thoughtful with the cards I make, and try to make them with a purpose in mind. I have all these random cards, that I just can’t use for anything.
Anyway, I’m going to try and concentrate on scrapbooking for a bit. I have a ton to do – I still have the last 12 days or so of my Europe trip from 2000 to go. As I was flipping through my done pages, I found this page – it’s one of my favorite pages from this book so far.
In Barcelona we went to a park where an artist had done a TON of mosaic. I replicated that on my page by created a mosaic with silver embossing powder and scraps of paper. I love how it turns out.
I used the CTMH Vintage travel Papers (LOVE this paper), Pewter eyelets, and chocolate grosgrain ribbon.
Enjoy!

The page is gorgeous! A thought on the extra cards… Tons of charities have fundraising silent auctions. Home made card assortments are always popular with bidders. Donate them to a favorite cause that is holding an event. You do beautiful work, and I am sure that they would be well received.
Yup…I remember this page and love it as much now as I did when you created it. You are so talented, Tracy. I love seeing your work.
That is freaking brilliant (the mosaic) and the page is absolutely gorgeous!
how do you have enough patience to do that?! it looks great though!
I am loving this page I will have to give the mosiac technique a try. I just got back into bloggin but have not posted that much art work.
take care

I know this if off topic but I’m looking into starting my own weblog and was wondering what all is needed to get set up? I’m assuming having a blog like yours would cost a pretty penny? I’m not very web savvy so I’m not 100% positive. Any recommendations or advice would be greatly appreciated. Kudos
Thanks for your tips on this blog. A single thing I would wish to say is always that purchasing consumer electronics items from the Internet is not something new. The fact is, in the past decade alone, the market for online electronics has grown drastically. Today, you will find practically any specific electronic system and product on the Internet, including cameras in addition to camcorders to computer spare parts and video gaming consoles.
