I’m back … with Blog Candy!

Hi everyone!

Sorry for the long break. It seems that I just can’t get well. After finally feeling better after the flu (thought it was food poisoning, turns out it was “just” the flu), I now have the head/chest crap that is going around. It’s miserable.

With not being well, and trying to catch up at work from last week, and this week being the end of the month, I just haven’t felt all that motivated to craft.

The one thing I have been feeling motivated on is this. I’ll probably continue to work on it each night for awhile too.

However, I got the new CTMH catalogs on Monday – they don’t go Live until May, but man, there is some cool new stuff coming. I already put my order in, and I’m waiting for the ship notice! LOL Looking at some of the new artwork has finally made me motivated – so I actually made a card tonight!

But first, it’s Blog Candy time! I hit 10,000 hits while I was in the middle of being sick. So here is what I’ve finally come up with for some Blog Candy! All you have to do is leave a comment on this post. If you’re so inclined, I’d love to know what your favorite stamps are right now. I’m always on the look out for some cute ones! :) I’ll leave comments through Monday April 7th, and pick a winner Tuesday morning! Good luck!

Here’s what the random winner will get:

A brand new pack of White Daisy CTMH Sassy Strand fibers
Chatterbox Snap On Square Paper Fasteners
Vellum Metal Rimmed Tags (Circle, Square and Rectangle)
Autumn Leaves Clear Stamps
Autumn Leaves Acrylic Block
Maya Road 2 Ring Layer Chipboard Book
Not Shown: Magnolia (Tilda) Stamped images

It’s always fun to read your blogs and see your creative side – I don’t have a favorite stamp at the moment, but my favorite punch is Martha Stewarts Butterfly. I can stamp butterflies all day long with my scraps and never get tired of seeing how the designs turn out.

My favorite stamp sets recently have been baby-related ones (I’ve attended lots of baby showers lately and have also started working on a scrapbook of my son’s first year). I like Stampin Up!’s Baby Announcements and Nice and Narrow.

  15. I had that flu for over a week, that was about 2 months ago and I have never felt the same since!! Tired all the time, no energy and feeling listless. I so cannot wait for summer. My fav. stamp set right now is the Always from SU!

  16. Oh, Tracy – I’m so stamp inept! I always end up just making or typing whatever I want on my computer. But, I still love your blog candy!!

I found a new website for stamps (well, new to me) – PapertreyInk.com. I haven’t purchased any yet, but have about 3 sets so far I really want to get – Text Boxed, Spiral Boquet, & Green Thumb.

You guys have fun this weekend.

  20. I am glad you are feeling better now. Congratulation on your 10,000 hits.
Woww you have a really nice blog candy. I would say that I love Stampin Up stamps, especially Embrace Life, I don’t know why, but I love that set.

    God bless

  21. Congrats on the 10K hits – that’s awesome! And, I’m glad you’re feeling better – I had the flu last month and it is not fun. Takes a few weeks before you feel like yourself again. I’m a big SU! fan, so I use mostly their sets for cardmaking.

  24. That flu is some pretty nasty stuff – sorry to hear you were under attack:(

My Favorite Things just came out with the Can You Dig It set and it’s really cute. My daughter-in-law loves to work in the yard so I’ve got to get that set for her. It’s always so much fun when the new CTMH, SU, and TAC catalogs come out. It’s nice that they can post them on-line now so we don’t have to keep buying them every 6 months.

  25. Congrats on your hits! That is so exciting! I was excited about my 1,000 hits! Hehe. Anyway, I have to say that I am partial to SU! and my favorite set of theirs right now is the Pun Fun set. It is so cute and versatile! Thanks again!

  26. I have heard of CTMH, but I have never seen a catolog. I don’t even know of anyone that sells it. Guess I’ve been missing out. Thanks for sharing. Have to go look and see if they have a website.

  27. Hope you’re better already :) Congrats on your 10000 plus hits!
I love any stamps with bunnies :P I don’t have them yet, but I like Sugar Nellie’s Little Cotton Rabbits.
