I really struggled with this card! I started it last night, and finally finished it, after thinking about it all day today, tonight.
I actually started out just practicing with my Prismacolor Pencils on a stamped Tilda image. When I was done, I decided I actually didn’t mind how it turned out so bad, so thought I’d make a card out of it. Then it dawned on me that I used some BRIGHT colors. I managed to find matching colors though, and fought my way through it. I honestly think that I like the way her hair turned out the best! LOL
I need to keep practicing with my pencils to get it down. Plus, I didn’t use my Mineral Spirits this time either, so I need to practice with those as well. Next time.

The more I look at the card, the more I like it! So that’s good. My Dad made a comment last night about spending time making cards we don’t like. Mom and I told him that sometimes you just don’t know if you like a card until it’s done, and by then it’s just too late!
The Prismacolor Pencils are a set of color pencils that are blendable, and lay down a lot of color. They are a bit expensive. I got my from http://www.dickblick.com . If you are patient you can get them off eBay as well. Check with your Mom, I know she was looking into getting a set of them!
I love the blended look of those pencils! I’ve gotts to get me some!!!!! Hey Amanda, remember my birthday is coming up (wink wink). I really like the bold colors of this card. I’m getting more tempted each day to start my own blog. (pause)
