Flowers are the Angels we see

So, I seem to be getting most of my inspiration lately from OTHER people! That’s not a bad thing by any means, sometimes just frustrating that I can’t sit down and complete a card without having to look at someone else’s card first!

This particular design is a card that seems to be making the rounds of CTMH demo’s. One example is at Kathi’s Creative Corner and another is at they call me pammie. Both are great cards!

As soons as I saw Kathi’s card, I knew I had the perfect stamp set for it – I had run across it the other day when I was putting things away. It’s an old woodie set from CTMH. I went to pull it out tonight and when I sat down to use it, I realized that the tape was still on the box!! Meaning – I’ve never used it – not once. WOW! So NOT good. I have so many stamp sets that I’ve bought over the years and never used. It’s made me more aware of trying to actually use them in the near future. You may be seeing a lot of cards made with retired stamps for awhile! :P

Anyway, here’s my version of the card. I put mine on a 5×7 card because the flower stamps were so big. And one of the many reasons I now prefer clear stamps to woodies – the sentiments go on the card straight! Oh well – it gives it character! ;) Enjoy!

Recipe:
Paper: CTMH – White textured
Inks: CTMH – Sweet Leaf, Blush, Black
Stamps: CMTH – Flowers are Angels (WAY Retired!!!)
Accessories: CTMH – Glitter, Bubblegum ribbon
