Glitter Ornament

Filed in Altered Item

Here’s a quick post.

This just took me a few minutes to make.

I just added a mixture of water and reinker into the ornament. Swirl it around to get complete coverage (don’t shake, you’ll end up with bubbles). Let the excess liquid drain out the top. Then add some fine glitter and shake! Done!

I’m also working on a couple of other ornaments that I hope to post in the next few days!

Recipe:
Glass Ornament (Purchases at JoAnn’s)
Misc: CTMH – Sweet Leaf Reinker; Ribbon

That is so cute! You have the best ideas – maybe you could give a couple little crafty classes at the next retreat, for those of us who are crafty challenged?????? I can’t wait until my kids and dog are old enough to have cute ornaments like this again . . .

What ratio of water to reinker did you use?

Honestly, it was a little of this, a little of that! LOL I have an medicine dropper – and I think I did about 1ml of water, and then just as many drops of reinker that I wanted for the tone of the color. The more you put, the darker it’ll be, etc. I know, it’s not scientific.
