Acetate Autumn Card

I’m sticking with the same Autumn supplies. I ran across Lin’s today and LOVED this card. I’d seen them before, but never made one before.

It was hard to get a good pic, but this was the best I could get without taking a glare off the acetate!

  1. Well, if I had had White Staz On, I think it would have dried pretty quickly. But I couldn’t find it at the store on Friday, so I used CTMH’s new white pigment ink. Let’s just say, it’s still not dry. I’m going to try and dry it with my heat gun tonight, but you have to be careful about that because it’ll buckle the acetate if it gets too hot.

I’m still on the hunt for the White Staz On!

Oh, I stamped the acetate before I glued the front pieces down. In order to hide the tape, you have to apply the layers on both sides of the card. So the orange piece is on the front of the card, but the red piece is on the back of the front of the card. Then the ivory piece is glued to the inside of the back piece and the green piece is glued to the back of the back piece. By doing it that way, you hide all your tape marks. Made sense?

  2. i did something like that but i used embossing stuff. it got a little wrinkled but i did the heat gun a little too long i think.

  3. Amanda – we have White Staz-on stamp pad now, so try it again and let me know how it works!

  4. why do i have to, you have as much ability as i do. i don’t even know where that paper stuff is.
