Hi everyone!
I’ve been working on a project for a birthday the last couple of nights - so that’s why no card. I’ll post it when I’m done. Likely next week sometime.
In the mean time, I’ve been tagged … for the first time!!!
TheDvineMsM has tagged me!
I have to list 7 things about myself!
1 - I have 2 Toy Poodles - Jack and Benny!
2 - I hate wearing shoes and socks! If possible, I would wear sandals all year round.
3 - I have 2 tattoos currently, and want a third. My brother is a tattoo artist … so one of these days!
4 - My favorite tv show right now is The Office.
5 - I live in the house I grew up in … for now.
6 - I’ve been to 33+ US States, 6 Canadian Provinces, Spain, France, Italy, Mexico and The Grand Caymans.
7 - I have more card making and scrapbook making supplies than anyone could ever need … but I keep buying more!
Now I need to Tag 7 other bloggers! Fingers crossed I can find 7 who haven’t been tagged!
*My friend Melissa over at Socalscrapper has started a blog as well!
*I love Julanne’s blog atGlitterfreak
*Jennifer at Makings from Scratch
*Yvonne at Stamp Your Art Out
*Shannon over at Cherished Keepsakes
*Inkin’ and Thinkin’ - she has great altered items!
Ok - I have only listed 6, and while I have over 100 blogs listed in my Bloglines list, most of them have already been tagged! So 6 it is!!!

Hi!
Here’s a couple of new cards I made tonight. It’s been a great mail week for me this week. I ordered, and received my new Cuttlebug!
Also I ordered some of the Marvy punhces and got those today. Sooo happy about my new things!! It really only makes me want more of the punches though! I also finally used my new Bella stamps tonight. I’ve had them for about 3 weeks and hadn’t made a card with them yet. I also wanted to use orange in a card. I’m having a real hard time being creative today. I literally sat and cut paper and tried to make a card for over an hour and it just wasn’t happening! UGH!
I’ve found a couple of cards that I did some time ago that I wanted to post. The birthday card is real simple. On the For You card I did the polished stone technique with reinkers!
Thanks for looking.

I made this card tonight to send to a friend. I think it may be the most neutral card I’ve made in a long time!
I stamped the lily pad in second generation. Then stamped the frog and rolled the edges.
I’m also trying a new way to take pictures. The black background will hopefully show the colors how they truly look.

Well, I’ve spent the last 4 days with some scrapping friends. They left today, and it’s back to the grind tomorrow.
I actually got quite a lot accomplished this weekend. I finished a scrapbook that is for a gift - it’s a total of 16 pages so not too shabby at all. Plus I made several cards, some of which you’ve seen over the past few days.
I also got to play with a couple of new gadgets this weekend. She has a Bind It All machine! I love this thing! As you can see from the pic, I practiced quite a bit with it, and most likely will be buying my own when they go on sale again at the LSS. I don’t know what I’m going to do with all of these, but I’m sure I’ll have fun figuring it out.

The other toy was a Cuttlebug Embossing folder. She uses hers in her old Sizzix die cutter. It works great. I instantly needed the folders. I was completely bummed though that I would seemingly have to spend $80 on the Cuttlebug itself though. At about midnight we had a brainstorm though. I have the QK Revolution. Well - we made a shim out of chipboard and voila! Works like a charm. So, I’m off to order a few of the folders and can’t wait to get them! In the mean time, I pre-embossed some pieces of cardstock to have while I wait.
Here’s a Birthday card I made with the Birthday Embossing folder.

Recipe:
Papers: CTMH - White, Sweet Leaf, Hollyhock
Stamps: CTMH - Birthday Bash
Inks: CTMH - Sunflower, Hollyhock, Grey Wool
Accessores: CTMH - Designer Ribbon; Cuttlebug - Birthday Embossing Folder

Today’s Caardvarks challenge is to make a 6×6 card.
When I was cruising Blogs last night I saw this particular color combo and was really drawn to it. I even commented in the Blog. But for the life of me I can’t find the post this morning to give credit. I’ll keep looking though and update my post when I do find it.

Papers: CTMH - Outdoor Denim, New England Ivy, Blush, White
Inks: CTMH - Blush
Stamps: CTMH - My Mom, Hope Everything …
Accessories: CTMH - White Hemp; Other - Buttons

One more card before I go to bed.
This card is for Jen’s Sketch Challenge.
Funky Florals was one of the first stamp sets I ever had. I love this set. This is also the first card I’ve ever used Twinkling H2O’s on as well. I don’t know if I used them properly, but I was just playing and washed them over the 2 pieces of white cardstock I cut (the rectangle with sentiment and the oval). You can barely see the shimmer in this picture, but it’s really pretty in person. I only have 6 colors of the H2O’s (all nuetral), and now I do believe I need to get more.

Recipe:
Papers: CTMH - Discovery Paper Packet, White
Stamps: CTMH - Funky Florals, For Every Occasion
Inks: CTMH - Hollyhock, Topiary
Accessories: CTMH - Ribbon, buttons, Hollyhock My Accents; Other - Twinkling H2O’s

Another day, another Caardvarks Challenge!
Today’s challenge was the 5 Star Challenge - create a card with 5 embellishments on the front. I managed to get 3 brads, 1 bigger brad, and a piece of ribbon on my Tent Card. Reading through all these Blogs, I kept seeing these cards that everyone kept calling Tent Cards. Then someone linked back to the first post about them at Michelle’s site. They are so cute, so I made my first one today!
I dug around in my stash and found these papers that I’ve had since last Fall and never even touched. And let’s not talk about the stamp set …

Recipe:
Papers: CTMH - Promise of Spring Paper Packet
Stamps: CTMH - Promise of Spring, Stoneware Texture, Thank You
Inks: CTMH - Smokey Plum, Olive
Accessories: CTMH Promise of Spring Accessory packet
